Courses
As well as leading my own Willow Basket & Animal Sculpture Days, I run bespoke willow basket making workshops for a wide variety of clients. Current clients include River Cottage, RHS, the Soho House Group, Coates English Willow, Somerset Rural Life Museum & The Garden House. Previous clients include Linley of London, CoLab Exeter, Social Enterprises, Schools and Corporate Team Building.

Maximum of 6-8 participants per day. Refreshments, all materials and a tour of Coates English Willow are included. Lunch is available at an additional cost at the adjacent Lemon Tree Coffee House. Held in the indoor heated classroom. All tools are provided, though you are more than welcome to bring along your favourite pair of secateurs and gardening gloves. Please also bring an apron or wear clothing that you don’t mind getting a little mucky! (Please be aware that from Sept 2020 onward the above details may be subject to change, i.e. reduced participants / refreshments & tour unavailable etc. This is to ensure that Willow Days follow Covid-19 safety guidelines).
Book your Day using my ‘Make a Booking Enquiry’ form.
Payment is accepted by electronic bank transfer, PayPal or by cheque. On receipt of your online Booking Enquiry Form I aim to reply within 5 working days with the availability of places for your choice/s and payment instructions.
Please note that due to the level of demand, places on my Willow Days are only allocated on a ‘first come, first serve’ basis on receipt of both your completed Booking Enquiry Form / Phone Call and your full payment. Once you have sent in your booking, please bear with me whilst I work through bookings on a strict date and time basis, (I have to do this for my own conscience!) To secure your place/s, when you have received my email reply please do get back to me with payment asap!
Please note that it is your responsibility to read the course full terms and conditions including the cancellation policy on my website Footer Pages.
GIFT VOUCHERS
I do offer my own Gift Voucher Service. They make ideal birthday and anniversary gifts for family, friends or colleagues. They also enable priority booking. This means you’ll receive the dates of my future Willow Days and have the chance to book before anyone else (including my MailChimp list). To arrange your gift voucher/s please complete my booking enquiry form or email willow@sarahlebreton.co.uk.
Please also note that I advertise my courses 3 times a year and although I send out a priority publicity email to gift voucher recipients, it is up to your gift recipient to check for availability and book their place/s. Once a date has been arranged by a gift voucher recipient, all normal terms and conditions, including my cancellation policy apply.
OTHER WILLOW BASKET & ANIMAL SCULPTURE DAY DETAILS:
For the best chance of securing your Willow Day place/s I strongly advise you to offer me a 1st and 2nd choice of date and, (if attending with family/friends), make one group booking – all this will be gratefully appreciated!
(Please also note that I try my very upmost to update the availability for each Willow Day as regularly as I possibly can, but due to the amount of bookings I receive there can occasionally be a delay between places being allocated and my manually updating this page).
CANCELLATION PLACES
Very occasionally I do get cancellation places, these are usually at very short notice. If a cancellation occurs, I update availability next to my Willow Day dates and advertise the place on my website News page. If I get a chance to, I email my waiting/cancellation list, (and sometimes, if time allows, I do try to phone around too!) If you would like to be on this list please let me know whether you are interested in weaving an ‘animal’ or a ‘basket’ or ‘both’.
COVID-19 & WILLOW DAYS
During September & October 2020 I regularly taught both my own Willow Days and for other South West organisations. Whilst doing so I made every reasonable effort to follow Covid-19 government guidelines, this included social distancing, handsanitising and the of wearing face masks / visors. Once we return to a similar level / tier to that in early Autumn 2020 I will again be teaching my Willow Days.
Once you have booked your place/s I will keep you informed of any changes to our Willow Day due to Covid-19 and if for a Covid-19 reason you or I do need to cancel, I will postpone your place/s to a later 2021 date.
Please note that for 2021 Willow Days I will also have a waiting list for each individual date. This is because I will be initially only releasing 6 of the 8 places per Willow Day, but subject to government guidelines I will review this number and where possible increase this up to a maximum of 8 participants. If therefore you see your chosen Willow Day already fully booked please do still make a booking enquiry and I will put you on the waiting list for your chosen date/s.
JOIN MY MAILING LIST:
I will be releasing my June 2021 onwards dates in February 2021. By going to my Contact Page and ticking the box next to ‘SIGN UP TO OUR MAILING LIST!’ you will be able to join my MailChimp newsletter and receive the next Willow Day dates prior to general public release.
