Hello!

Firstly, I hope that you, your family and friends are keeping well.

I’m sending you this newsletter to let you know that I’m now taking bookings for the limited number of places that I now have available for my April – July 2021 Willow Day workshops.

Over the next 4 months I will be teaching 26 Willow Basket & Animal Sculpture Days at Coates English Willow on the Somerset Levels.

Having already reallocated as many of my postponed students and gift voucher recipients as possible to these Willow Day workshops, this is now your chance to grab the remaining places. So treat yourself and come and create with me either a willow basket or animal sculpture!

Find all the details, including how to book your Willow Day below but first….

Courses:
In line with teaching institutions and other providers who run courses and workshops in the creative arts, I am commencing teaching again from April. Just as in September and October last year, when I not only taught my own Willow Days but also led workshops for other organisations including the RHS and the Somerset Rural Life Museum, I will be following all guidelines in regards to face masks, sanitising and social distancing.

For my April and May dates I will be teaching a maximum of 6 participants per Willow Day. From June I will be increasing my workshop to 8 participants. This extra capacity has enabled me to offer additional places to those of you receiving this newsletter.

If however you find that your Willow Day workshop choice is already fully booked, please do still contact me with a 1st, 2nd and even 3rd choice. I will then be able to add you to my waiting list for these dates. (I’ve found that due to us now living in more uncertain times, those on my waiting lists have, more than ever before, been able to take up places at my Willow Days).

Just to let you know, once you have booked your place/s I will keep you informed of any changes to our Willow Day that may occur due to Covid-19 government guidelines and if for a Covid-19 reason you or I do need to cancel, I will of course postpone your place/s to a later 2021 date. However, please keep your fingers crossed that this will not happen!

I am very much hoping that you will choose to attend these April – July 2021 dates. Our Willow Day workshop together will be one thing that we can positively look forward to!

News:
In order for me to create a more sustainable craft business, one in which I can hopefully assist in helping to save the knowledge, skills and techniques of my heritage craft form, I am increasing the amount of commissions that I undertake. Not only will I continue to explore heritage willow baskets, but I am now forging ahead with sculptural willow lighting and willow seating original Arts & Crafts movement furniture.

For more information on how determined I am to continue to teach and make in this incredible heritage craft form that I love, you are more than welcome to read my latest news articles at www.sarahlebreton.co.uk/news or follow me on Instagram at sarah_le_breton

Gift Vouchers:
I do offer my own Gift Voucher Service. These make ideal birthday and anniversary gifts for family, friends or colleagues. They also enable priority booking, (gift recipients get to choose their Willow Day date before those on my MailChimp publicity mailing). You can find out about my gift vouchers in more detail by heading to www.sarahlebreton.co.uk/courses

I do hope that you, your family or friends will be joining me in 2021 to create fantastic willow baskets and animals!

Best wishes, Sarah www.sarahlebreton.co.uk
