Willow Days Jan -May 2021. Delaying their release for a week….

Due to the second national lockdown I am sadly having to postpone the 5 Willow Days that I was going to be teaching in November at Coates English Willow.

I am giving priority to those on my November Willow Days to now book onto my January – May 2021 Willow Days before these are released to my MailChimp newsletter list and then generally publicised.

I think that this is the only fair thing to do as nearly all the lovely people booked onto my November Willow Days already, due to the first lockdown, have had their workshops postponed from the Spring and Summer.  Also, all these lovely people already paid me either a year ago in October or last February and have been incredibly kind to me in already wishing to being postponed until now and not request refunds.

I will be releasing my January – May 2021 dates to my MailChimp list on Wednesday 11th November.

Please note that for 2021 Willow Days I will also have a waiting list for each individual date.  This is because I will be initially only releasing 6 of the 8 places per Willow Day but, subject to government guidelines on the date of the Willow Day,will review this number and where possible increase this up to a maximum of 8 participants.  If therefore you see your chosen Willow Day already fully booked please do still make a booking enquiry and I will put you on the waiting list for your chosen date/s.

Thank you for all your understanding, Sarah X.

The featured image is of Tess who learnt how to make a Zarzo basket with me at RHS Rosemoor last Saturday 31st October.  It was so great to be able to teach these 2 days of basketmaking workshops before lockdown.  The RHS ran the workshops brilliantly and the 16 participants were amazing in their efforts, creativity and in each of their achievements.

Images from the RHS basketmaking workshops held on the 30th & 31st October.  From left to right:  A very pleased Annie (I love that you can see the smile in her eyes!); Nat with her rectangular Zarzo & Hayden with her round Zarzo; detail of Hayden’s creative approach to a decorative detail known as a closure – a beautiful star!
