Wine Bottle Baskets

Bespoke commission for 2 × 4 partition and 2 × 6 partition wine bottle baskets.

Sarah designed the bottle baskets to have a curve on their shorter sides so to raise the integral leather handles, enabling the baskets,when containing the bottles, to be carried more easily.  Purely traditional English basketry techniques were used including pierced through staking, English rand side weave and blunt corner borders. The Old French willow variety was lightly steamed with the rich brown colour colour accentuated by the leather handles.  Price on application 2026.
