Welcome to my Autumn newsletter!
Letting you know my latest news and offering you the opportunity to be one of the first to book on my new January - April ‘27 workshops.
News: Alongside currently restocking my online shop full of lovely baskets in time for Christmas (you are welcome to pre-order!) I am now undertaking more bespoke furniture and lighting commissions. Collaborating with Non-Standard Furniture, this recently included creating willow seats for two amazing chairs.
Last month I unveiled my new Regency Era Collection at the Jane Austen Festival Fayre in Bath (see news photo). From large oval picnic hampers to fine delicate baskets for parading with, each basket has been meticulously researched for historical accuracy and recreated using rare and often advanced basketry techniques. Read more about why I created this collection by clicking here for my news article. All available in my online shop, so go treat your inner Lizzie Bennet!
For the festive season I will be offering an array of my baskets at the Beautiful & Useful Fair at the Garden Museum, 6th December, Lambert, London. Head to https://www.beautiful-useful.co.uk/garden-museum-2026 for more info and tickets.
And finally, for a more exclusive Christmas present I offer my Bespoke Weaving Experiences for up to 3 people in my home garden studio and there’s always my gift vouchers, available for both workshops and for basket purchases. Best wishes, Sarah X
Bespoke Weaving Experiences: At my home studio in a beautiful Devon garden setting I offer the opportunity to make one of the baskets that I’ve designed for my Willow Day Workshops. For up to 3 people, great for those who wish to learn in a smaller group or for that special occasion. From £185.
Also, having teaching specifically tailored to you is incredibly rare and extremely valuable. This is why for intermediate basket weavers, I now offer one day, (or more if you’d like!) private Skills Sessions with 1:1 or 2:1 tuition. From £200.
Website Shop: A range of baskets and willow lighting features, all handwoven by myself, can be purchased through my online shop. Pre-ordering available and if you have ideas of a bespoke commission please do email me. Basket Gift Vouchers available too!
Workshop Gift Vouchers: Making ideal Christmas, birthday and special occasion presents, you can purchase part or full payment vouchers towards any of my one and two day workshops or Bespoke Weaving Experiences. A great experience for loved ones and friends who can choose which basket they will be creating. Valid for 2 years, your lucky recipient will receive an electronic gift card that can be emailed or printed out. From £65 - £195, available to purchase instantly from my website.
