Latest News
Incredibly excited to announce that I have been chosen as Maker in Residence at Kelmscott Manor, in Oxfordshire. Once the cherished home of William Morris, the great designer-craftsman, writer, conservationist and revolutionary socialist, from April - October I will be spending time weaving, teaching, demonstrating and immersed in life at this historic residence.
To be showcasing basketmaking and chair-seating, honouring my heritage craft form whilst revealing and challenging how we as craftspeople live and work in today’s society, to explore our collective values, look closer at what we want and need for a better future - I may just be found weaving this all in too! Exhibition: Now at the Harley Gallery, Nottinghamshire from the 12th April - 29th June Basketry: Rescuing, Reviving, Retaining features over 125 traditional baskets and 60 basketmakers from throughout the British Isles. Events: This summer you will find me again at Craft Festival, Bovey Tracey, Devon 6th - 8th June and for the first time at Exeter Crafts Festival, 3rd - 5th July.

Website Shop: A range of baskets and lighting features, all handwoven by myself can be purchased through my online shop. Over the coming months new one of a kind pieces will be added to this growing collection. You’re most welcome to also get in touch if you are in need of a bespoke basket or chair seat repair.
May - July Workshop Availability: Now spring has finally truly sprung you may be hankering to make a basket with me! To fit being Maker in Residence at Kelmscott Manor in I have had to reschedule a couple of my Spring / Summer workshops but I do still have places available. If you are a previous student of mine, let me know when booking and receive a delicious homemade lunch for free!
Key Workshop Information
With well over a decade of teaching experience, my focus is upon you creating willow baskets that I have designed and that you’ll love! Willow Day Workshops are suitable for beginners and those with existing weaving experience.
PRICE: 1 day workshops £110, 2 day workshop £195.
TIME: 9.15 arrival for 9.30am start. 5.45pm finish (approximately).
VENUE: Chevithorne Village Hall, Chevithorne, Tiverton, Devon, EX16 7PU.(15 minutes from M5, junction 27, 5 minutes from A361 dual carriageway). Fully accessible, idyllic village setting with parking directly outside.
DETAILS: Maximum 8 participants per workshop. Price includes all materials, (willow locally sourced from the Somerset Levels), and refreshments. Tools provided.
Bespoke Weaving Experiences
At my home studio in a beautiful Devon garden setting I now offer you the opportunity to make one of the baskets that I’ve designed for my Willow Day Workshops. For up to 3 people, great for those who wish to learn in a smaller group or for that special occasion. From £175.
Having teaching specifically tailored to you, is incredibly rare and extremely valuable. This is why for intermediate weavers, I now offer one day, (or more if you’d like!) private training with 1:1 or 2:1 tuition. From £200.
