Welcome to my latest newsletter! For full details of my new January – April ’24 workshops and to book please scroll down, but first…

Workshops:
Come and experience a day or two willow weaving at my lovely Devon venue. Whether you’re a willow weaving newbie or wish to hone your basketmaking techniques I’ve designed a range of baskets and sculptures just for you.

One day workshops are £105 (two day workshop £175). This includes all materials and refreshments. In addition the lovely Lost Kitchen www.lostkitchen.co.uk (who are just down the road from our quintessential village hall venue), provide us with a delicious veggie lunch for £12.50. Places are limited to 8 people per workshop. 9.30am – 5.45pm (approx!) and are held at Chevithorne EX16 7PU (15 minutes from J27 of the M5).

Gift Vouchers: I offer full or part payment gift vouchers that make ideal Christmas, anniversary and birthday gifts for family and friends. Gift recipients choose their own workshop date and vouchers are valid for 2 years. All details can be found on my workshops web page and to purchase please contact me.

News: Alongside being able to purchase my basket collection direct via my website shop, you are now able to view and buy my baskets from the MAKE Southwest gallery shop in Bovey Tracey, Devon. A couple of weeks ago I popped down to see them being displayed really wonderfully, (see the photo below!) Launching next week, I’m also busily making baskets for an exciting new and hopefully revolutionary online shopping experience that showcases UK artisan small businesses… watch this space!

Have an heirloom basket, cradle or furniture that needs restoring? During the summer I undertook a number of restoration projects, including my favourite ever, an honest repair of a straw child’s Orkney chair (see photo below). Email me and hopefully I can assist!

I look forward to teaching you, your friends and family in 2024.

Best wishes, Sarah
