New April – July 2021 Willow Day Workshop Dates. – 22nd March
I am today releasing via email my new April – July 2021 Willow Day workshop dates to all my postponed students and gift voucher recipients. In total I will be teaching 26 workshops, all your favourites, from general basketmaking to creating willow animals.
I will be teaching again from the 23rd April. This is in line with teaching institutions and organisations who run courses and workshops in the creative arts. Just as in September and October last year, when I not only taught my own Willow Days but also taught for other organisations including the RHS and the Somerset Rural Life Museum, I will be following all guidelines in regards to face masks, sanitising and social distancing.
I have now 80 students who have had their Willow Days postponed due to Covid-19 lockdowns and who are now awaiting a new Willow Day. These lovely postponed students, along with my gift voucher holders, are being prioritised for my April – July dates.
I will be publicising all my April – July Willow Day dates to my MailChimp newsletter list and on my website from 1st April. Please note that from this date onwards I will not be able to prioritise my postponed students. In order to generate new income I do need to release these new workshop dates to the general public from 1st April.
Before Covid-19 I always taught 8 people at each Willow Day. I am currently working at a maximum of 6 participants per Willow Day, (I’d been anticipating the ‘rule of 6’ coming back into force), but I’m really hoping that in time I will be able to enlarge each workshop to 8 participants. Please note that if this happens, further extra places will become available at each of my Summer Willow Days.
