Inspired by a basket depicted in the large oil painting Industrial Landscape with Mills, Children Picnic from the 1820s, by John Pennington (1773 - 1841).
Handwoven using prized white willow (stripped Black Maul variety) or green Dickie Meadows variety. Both locally sourced from the Somerset Levels.
