You’ll be weaving with willow locally grown on the Somerset Levels.
LEARN: How to create a large willow basket from a hybrid technique base and do leather handles. A frame platter base, a chasing 3 rod wale weave, the diagonal / Irish side weave, a 5 rod behind 2 rod border and make leather handles.
ABILITY: Suitable for both beginners and those with existing willow weaving experience.
VENUE: Chevithorne Village Hall, Chevithorne, Tiverton, Devon, EX16 7PU.
TIME: 9.15 arrival for 9.30am start. 5.30pm finish (approximately).
