Book now for your May – July ’22 Willow Day Workshop!
This afternoon I released my May – July dates that I will be teaching at Coates English Willow on the Somerset Levels to my MailChimp newsletter list. To book your workshop please head to my Willow Day Workshops page and click on any of the ‘Make a Booking Enquiry’ buttons.
I’ve had a swift response to my publicity and this, combined with gift voucher holders having priority booking does mean that workshops are already filling up with a number now only having limited availability.
Very occasionally, due to the way the world is at the moment, I do get cancellation places. These are usually at very short notice. If a cancellation occurs I email the workshop waiting list, update availability on my courses webpage and advertise the place on my news webpage. If you wish to attend a Willow Day Workshop that is already fully booked it is well worth either filling out the booking form or emailing me so that you can go on the waiting list. Please do let me know if you are interested in all workshop cancellation places or for a specific workshop date.
I’m please to include below the News section of my latest MailChimp Newseletter.
Best wishes, Sarah X

Welcome in sunnier days with a Willow Day Workshop!
As the signs of Spring emerge it’s lovely to be able to now offer you the opportunity to book onto my May – July 2022 basketmaking workshops. Find all the details, including how to book your Willow Day below but first….
Event: I’m really pleased to announce that during August ’22 I will be exhibiting my new work at Nourish, an exhibition being held at the Crafts Study Centre, Farnham in Surrey. This exciting exhibition will explore the idea of nourishment and what it means to the maker today. The selected 16 UK wide basketmakers will be exhibiting basketry and sculptural pieces that showcase the dynamism and enduring relevance of our craft form.
Training, Treasures & Weaving VW Campervan: Being so passionate about what I do, I want to share my story with you. On my website you can learn about the training that I undertake in my ambition to be the best possible craftsperson that I can be and find out about the baskets and woven objects that I collect. These treasured objects, such as the extremely rare 19th century skeined willow chair that I recently found, need I believe to be saved for the nation. They provide an amazing insight into the highly skilled craftspeople and the basketry techniques that once existed in the UK and give those of us crafting today inspiration and aspirations!
Over the past couple of years I have been renovating the interior of ‘Nigella’ my T2 VW Campervan. What better way to do this than design and create many of her features in woven willow and rush materials! From unique willow basket storage solutions to quirky sun visors, this has given me the opportunity to practice highly skilled techniques and create a unique moving showcase of my craft form. Find out more about Nigella’s renovation and my UK wide campervan adventures by heading to my website projects page and by following me on instagram at sarah_le_breton
Courses: Alongside teaching at my regular venues including Coates English Willow in Somerset and RHS Rosemoor in Devon, due to demand, as the year progresses I will be teaching workshops at new and exciting venues in the South West. Keep posted by regularly heading to my website news and courses pages. Places at my workshops do fill up quickly, if you find your chosen date is already fully booked please do ask to go on my waiting list.
Gift Vouchers: I do offer my own Gift Voucher Service. These make ideal birthday and anniversary gifts for family, friends or colleagues. They also enable priority booking, (gift recipients get to choose their workshop date before those on my MailChimp). You can find out about my gift vouchers in more detail by heading to www.sarahlebreton.co.uk/courses
I do hope that you will be joining me this summer to create fantastic willow baskets!
Best wishes, Sarah
